This Variegated English Boxwood grows in full sun to part shade. It adapts well to a variety of well-draining soils. Once established this boxwood is drought tolerant. However, Boxwoods will perform best when watered once weekly during dry periods, including in winter.
Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer like Garden-Cote to give your boxwood a boost. Pruning can be done any time of the year. However, it is best to avoid pruning in late fall as pruning will stimulate new growth that will be too tender to survive the freezing, winter temperatures.
