Picea omorika 'Riverside' is a narrow conical tree form of Serbian spruce with the typical shiny silvery Blue-green needles of the species and semi-pendulous branching that turn upward at the tips. This is a fairly fast-growing plant. After 10 years of growth a mature specimen will stand in excess of 10 feet tall and 3 feet wide, a rate of growth exceeding 1 foot (30 cm) per year.
This cultivar originated as a seedling selection made by Wells Nursery of Mt. Vernon, Washington. It is occasionally seen listed in catalogs and 'Wells Riverside.'
